Volunteer

Global Growers relies on committed and motivated volunteers to help with our farm operations so we can create a space for our partner farmers to be successful food producers. No prior farm experience is needed, just the ability to work hard and be comfortable getting dirty. We have two sites available for volunteering: Bamboo Creek Farm in Stone Mountain and Decatur's Kitchen Garden in Decatur.

Possible activities include: preparing garden beds, making compost, farmscaping our sites for increased sustainability, planting and harvesting.

Remember, when volunteering outdoors it is always a good idea to come prepared. We recommend you bring a water bottle, bug repellent, sunscreen, closed toe shoes, gloves, snacks and appropriate work clothes when working in the garden. It's more fun this way!
